Since October 01, 2019, Kai Siersleben has been the Managing Director of Copart Germany. Previously, he worked for both AutoOnline and Control€Xpert, contributing to the success of the two industry leaders while building his own expertise. With 20 years of national and international management experience, he is setting new goals for the establishment of the Copart model within the German market.

The local market is in need of reinvention, as the claims settlement processes which have been in place for years negatively impacts all parties. Copart intends to solve these issues with full-service remarketing via live online auctions.

In addition to leading the Copart team, Kai Siersleben will also be responsible for the Copart brand CashForCars, which has been active in the B2C business, purchasing damaged and used cars since the summer of 2019, as well as the WOM brand, i.e. WreckOnlineMarket GmbH. Founded in 2005, the Karlovy Vary Stock Exchange is one of the largest in Germany. Site Manager, Manuela Heimberger, has been managing the site since the beginning of 2017.

Personnel additions have brought an impressive amount of experience to Copart Germany. The newly established marketing and sales team includes Tabea Müller, Jochen Kohlmann, and, as of spring 2020, Lothar Rabeneik. All individuals bring a lot of industry experience to the table, and have previously worked at big brands such as Tölke&Fischer GmbH & Co.KG, CARTV, Audatex AutoOnline, carexpert and others. Since July 2019, Florian F. Stumm has been leading the team as the new Sales Director, as well as becoming an Executive Board member. In the last 15 years, Stumm has held various leadership positions in the areas of mobility, claims management and remarketing. Most recently, he was a member of the Audatex AutoOnline management team.

Quoc Tri Dung Trinh worked in the same company as Program/Product Manager. He is now a member of the Copart team, in the IT Department.

The latest addition to the Team is Tabea Mueller, who is the new Marketing Director. She brings over six years of professional experience in the automotive industry to the team.

The team has recently started operating out of the new headquarters in Düsseldorf. With a floor area of just under 1,000 sqm, the online vehicle remarketer now has a modern and conveniently-located open-plan office to accommodate its growing number of employees.

With their combined experience, together with the newly established team, Copart’s goal is to expand the German market. “We can only achieve our goal as a team, and that goal is to make Copart the industry leader in the accident and used-car sector in Germany,” concludes Siersleben. We will be watching the development of Copart Germany with great interest in 2020.
